Markus Christen was involved in the realization of the following projects:

• Design and execution of the research brochure (2013 and 2015) for the Swiss Heart Foundation.
• Editorial management of various publications (e.g. Handbook Ethics in the Health System) for the Institute Dialogue Ethics Zurich.
• Editorial management of "Wirtschaftswunder Schweiz" – an entrepreneur-based economic history of Switzerland (NZZ Libro).
• Editorial work for "TransplantInfo" - the information portal for transplantation medicine of the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health.
• Editorial work for "Herausforderung Internet" - a brochure for the Swiss Center of Technology Assessment.
• Research for the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health on organ donation (international donor registries, brain death and donation after cardiac death) and rare diseases (evaluation of national strategies of various European countries).
• Grant preparation for the Berne University of Applied Sciences (Security Engineering Lab).
